Choosing An Acne Diet That Works For You
Sunday, January 2nd, 2011There are many people that suffer from acne all the time yet dermatologists and skincare companies both will tell you that acne has nothing to do with diet and that there is no relation between the two. It’s interesting because if you change your diet you will notice that diet does effect acne and the condition of your skin overall. The reason that dermatologists and skincare companies tell you that diet doesn’t effect skin is because they have a lotion, cream, pill or skincare product to sell you and if you knew to change your diet then they wouldn’t be able to sell you what they once could to you.
I personally suffered from having acne for over 5 years and I noticed my acne clear up or get worse when i changed my diet. When I started learning what to eat and how to eat proper diet my skin started to clear up and I kept getting more effective at clearing up my skin and helping others clear up acne with my advice as well. One of the things that I noticed was that when I ate sugar I noticed that my skin would break out more. So if I decreased my acne and watched how often I ate it my skin would be clearer more often. So the first thing that I recommend that you do is to begin to cut sugar out of your diet or drastically reducing it right away.
Along with sugar I also noticed that when i eat too much meat or dairy my skin will also breakout as well. I learned that both meat and dairy products can be and are very often very low quality and pumped with hormones because they want to produce the meat or dairy quicker to sell it quicker so they make more money. I started watching how much meat and dairy that I ate on a daily basis and i started to eat less as I switched over to high quality dairy and meat instead. If you want to eat higher quality meat and dairy you need to get free range and organic meat and dairy. Your skin will benefit from these instead of becoming harmed by them.

I also found that you should be eating more fruits and vegetables each day because these contain the nutrients that supplement and support your skins health and clarity as well. If you get these in your diet the vitamins and minerals that keep your skin healthy will do their job and you will see the benefits from them. Another thing that you should do is drink more water. If you are dehydrated your skin is also dehydrated as well. When your skin is dehydrated it cannot bring nutrients to the cells and detox toxins. So by staying hydrated you make the negative food you eat less effective at causing acne and the healthy food you eat more effective to clear skin up so it’s definitely worth it.
